We are an "Open Admission" shelter, which means we take all animals, even from other shelters that are limited admission or full and keep them until they find their forever homes.

We rely totally on public funding, and do not receive any funding from the City of Sioux Falls for any of these surrendered animals or any care or treatment of pets that enter our facility.
