Adoption Center Visitation
At our adoption center, you must be a pre-screened adopter or registered volunteer to spend time with the animals that call the shelter their temporary home. Becoming pre-screened takes about 5 minutes once the application is filled out and stays on file for at least 30 days from your last visit to the shelter.

Shelter Stars
Utley is the new shelter star! He will receive gifts to take home when he is adopted! Hello, my name is Utley! I'm coming back to the shelter because I wasn't getting along with the kids in my last home. I am a really sweet dog and very laid back. I am partially house trained, I just may need to be refreshed once I am in my new home. I need to go to a home with no children because I can get really mouthy when I play. I don't know if I live well with other animals. If you have another dog you will need to bring them to meet me to make sure we get along, before you adopt me. I can be really energetic, but also very relaxed and I like to cuddle. I am neutered, mirochipped, frontlined and started on my vaccinations. Will you by my forever home?
Hi, my name is Samson! I'm the new shelter star! I will receive gifts to take to my new home when I am adopted! I came to the shelter as a stray, so not much is known about me. I'm not very talkative and pretty independent. I will come seek attention when I want it. I'm good with children of all ages. I like to chase things that I find on the floor. I don't know if I live well with other animals, so if you have pets at home, make sure you properly introduce us and understand that it will take time for us to be comfortable with each other. I'm neutered, microchipped, frontlined, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and started on my vaccinations. Will you be my forever home?
