Hi I’m Delia! I’m a big gal who is just a giant ball of love. I can quite shy at first, but I love attention. I am not interested in toys but do love treats. I was previously an outdoor dog that came from a rough situation. I am looking for someone who will have the patience and understanding to help me transition to an indoor dog, house-train me and understand that quirks that come with owning a big St. Bernard like me! I like to roam around and like to run when I see the chance, so please watch me near doors and fence gates; because of this I will require a fence and it would be a good idea to supervise me outdoors since I’m a bigger dog. Please do a lot of research on the St. Bernard breed if you’ve never had one. I do need an owner that has experience with shyer dogs so I can learn to thrive in my new home. I have done a lot of dog introductions here at the shelter and I just don’t think I can learn to live with dogs again after my previous home so I do need to be the only canine companion at home. I am unsure about cats however. Will you be my forever home?
