I am very shy and anxious when I first get someplace new. It takes a bit for me to warm up to a new environment and come out of my shell. I require a quiet home without much activity or noise. I should do well with children of all ages as long as those children are on the quieter, less active side. I have lived with a small dog and other cats and did well. I would still prefer if the other animals in the home were on the calmer side. Once things are calm around me I really love a good scratch around my neck and shoulders. I will seek out petting and purr while interacting as long as everything around me is calm so I'm not becoming overwhelmed.
