Hi, my name is Willow! I am quite a shy and anxious lady, but I promise I want to be friends with you! I was pretty skinny when I got to the shelter, and I do eat very fast because of it, so a maze/puzzle bowl would be beneficial for me. My previous family said that I am house and kennel trained, but I may need a refresher course in my new home. I was also kenneled when I was alone as I do like to go through the trash or the counters to find yummy snacks. So far, I haven’t felt comfortable enough to show staff my playful side, but I’m sure when I am comfortable at home, it will start to come out! I am very skittish of loud noises and sudden movements, so I would do best in a home that is quieter with not a lot of foot traffic. I have also been very quiet here at the shelter, but this may change when I am at home. Please do a lot of research on the German Shepherd breed if you haven’t had one because we do have breed-specific behavior quirks! I would not be a good dog for a first-time owner either. Please watch me when doors open, as I try very hard to beat you outside. Will you help me be brave?
