Hi, my name is Kaden! When I first came to the shelter, I was very scared and timid of everyone and everything. Since I’ve been here for a few months, my personality has blossomed! I am a bit loud when I am in my kennel, but I am pretty calm and well-mannered when I am outside. I do want to be friends with everyone, but I do warm up faster with women than I do with men. I would do best in an experienced home that has had shyer dogs before. Due to how timid I can be initially, I should do well with children ages 11 and up. I have been around dogs before and I am quite selective on who I like. I do seem to be more reactive to dogs when I am in my kennel, but I’m sure it will still take an adjustment. I do seem to be house-trained as I rarely have accidents in my kennel, but please be patient if I have a couple when I first come home. Please do research on then Black Mouth Cur breed (mix) if you’ve never had one before. Will you love me forever?
