Hi, I’m Penelope! I am a shy girl looking for my forever family. I take a bit to warm up to new people so when you first meet me please go slow and understand that it takes me a bit to come out of my shell. I am not fully potty trained so I will need a patient owner that is willing to work with me to help me become fully potty trained. I tend to prefer females over males and will sometimes bark and growl with I see a stranger. Once they offer me a treat or two I warm right up. I need to go to a quiet home with older kids ages 13 and up because fast movements and loud noises scare me. Once I warm up to you I will become your shadow. I love to be held and carried around but only after we know each other. I can be quite vocal so if you live in an apartment please make sure you have thick walls. I am unsure how I feel about other dogs or cats. If you have a canine friend at home please bring them to meet me before adopting me. Will you take me to my forever home?
