Hello, I am Tosh! I came to the shelter because my owner could no longer care for me. I'm a laid back girl who enjoys basking under my heat lamp and taking a dip in the water on occasion. If you've ever had turtles before, you'll know that we can be very long-lived, and I'm no exception! I am in the young years of my life, and can live over 20 years easily! I am about 8 inches long now, and will get to a little over 12 inches, so I will need a large habitat. If you're not prepared for that kind of commitment, I may not be the right one for you. It would be best if I went to a home that has had turtles before and knows about my needs. I really love to have supervised time outside in the grass, and I love the occasional snack of small fish or nightcrawlers. I should do well with kids of all ages as long as they know how to handle me gently and properly. Will you be this chill girl's forever family?
