Hi, my name is Chessie! I came to the shelter because my owner could no longer care for me. I am a bit of an anxious guy who has some quirks. I really don’t like being left by myself, but I also really dislike being kenneled. I do okay at boarding facilities, but I do try to escape kennels at home and could really hurt myself. I didn’t do well being left alone in the bathroom either while my family was gone, so I would thrive in a home where people are home more often . I do have a history of not sharing my bones or toys very well so I should go to a home with kids ages 7 and up who understand my quirks. Will you love me forever?
