Hello, my name is Rio! I am the boy parakeet with more green feathers than yellow. My mate and I came to the shelter because our owner could no longer care for us. We are very sweet birds who will tweet and chirp the day away, so be ready for plenty of conversation with us! Though we are a little uncomfortable with handling, once we warm up to you and know you, we will hop onto your finger if you say "jump"! We were hand-tamed when we were younger, so with a bit more handling and patience, I think we would become very hand-tamed birds again! Since Daisy and I have been together all of our lives, we must go home together, as we get very sad if we're separated.
