Hello everybody, I'm Zinny! I came to the shelter because my owner could no longer care for me. Haven't you always wanted a pet that will sit on your lap and cuddle with you? Well that's me, I'm a lap piggy! If you have a soft blanket on your lap, and you're petting me gently, I will flop over and be asleep within minutes. I'm very good at being held as well, and I will wheek and chatter at you when you are giving me attention. Like all guinea pigs, I am very fond of munching on my Timothy hay, having floor time with my people, and taking plenty of naps! I have been around another guinea pig briefly and we played nice together, so I think I would really like having another piggy around, as I am very social and enjoy having other animals to cuddle with. Sometimes I am busy thinking and not paying attention to my surroundings, so if you reach for me when I am not expecting it, I will nip at you out of surprise, so I will do best with kids 5+.
