Unfortunately, right now, I can’t play quite as much as I would like to. When I got to the shelter, the nice vet staff found out that I was heartworm positive, so I am having to take it easy while I have treatment for that. I can still get adopted though, and it would actually be better for me to be in a home for this treatment than here at the shelter. At my forever home, I would be able to relax more, which is what I really need to do right now, so I am really hoping that I can impress someone soon and go home.

 

It would be ideal for me to go to a home with a fenced in yard. Here at the shelter, I pull sometimes when I am on a leash, but when the nice people bring me to the playyard, I like to walk slowly around and take myself for a sniff walk. There are so many interesting smells to keep me busy. I love to enjoy the outside and then come in to relax by your side.

 

I really like treats too and am a very polite girl when I know you have a treat for me. I bet I could learn a lot if treats were involved!
