Likes: Pointing out that today's trends are just the 90's all over again.
Dislikes: People talk over you when you're clearly in the middle of a sentence. And pickles.

Hello! My name is Thor. I came back to the shelter because I need more exercise and attention than my owners could provide. I'm a happy, but a very energetic boy. I must go home with people who love adventure and exercise outdoors. Having a lot of energy isn't surprising for a dog of my age and breed, but there is no amount of activity that's too much for me.

I have shown separation anxiety behaviors in my previous home and here at the shelter. While it is something that shouldn't be overlooked, if you have patience (and don't live in an apartment) it can be worked with and managed. I'm used to being crated, but I don't always like it. There shouldn't be anything near me that I can pull into my kennel, because I will if I can reach it. It might help to find a busy bone or kong toy that I can chew on and work at while you're gone.

I'm a social boy that loves being in the middle of the action so I'd still prefer to just be with you a lot of the time. I'm pretty well house trained, but you might need to refresh my memory after being here. A scheduled routine will go a long way in polishing up my skills. I've done well with dogs my size or bigger; I play too rough for small dogs and don't know how to control my energy. I don't want to accidentally hurt them or scare them, so it's best if I don't have any small dogs in my home. I am the same way with cats and haven't met a cat yet that likes to play as rough as I do! So, staff says I should also be in a feline-free home.

If you're an active person who just wants a companion that loves life as much as you do, we'll be best buds! I'll have to be in a home with supervised children 11 or older because I can get mouthy and rough when I'm hyped up and forget any sort of manners. I know how to sit, but what I'd love most is someone who wants to teach me more things. Maybe you could even teach me some agility stuff!

Whatever you want to show me or do with me, I'm ready. Come and meet me right now! Will you give me the chance to be your best friend?
