Hi I’m Bruce! I came to the shelter as a surrender with limited information. I am a big dog with a big personality. Please research my breed if you are interested in adopting me. When it comes to other dogs I don’t make friends with them. I like to have all of your attention to myself, so dog parks and dog parties aren’t something I want to do. Here at the shelter, I don’t like to have dogs in the play yard next to me either because I just want to enjoy my time outside. My ideal home is not in an apartment and is one large enough to fit me in it, as well as a more laid back one that can let me retire and just enjoy the best things in life such as soft beds and treats. Some people even refer to me as a mini horse because of my size! I can get bouncy when I’m excited even though I’m older so it is best I go home with kids 15 and older so I don’t knock them over and hurt them. Did you need an alarm system? I’m great at notifying you if there is a knock on the door by barking really loud. Baths are not something I’m ok with having so dry shampoos will be the best option for me if I get dirty. I have some allergies as well, so please be aware I may need to be a frequent flyer at the vet unless I get a stable environment.
