BENEFITS EXPLAINED
Voting
Voting on bylaws for the SFAHS at the annual meeting held in January of each calendar year. Membership entitles those over 18 to vote at the January meeting of the year following an active membership. Purchasing a membership in 2020, entitles you to vote at the January 2021 meeting.

Retail Store
The retail store is located in the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society and has hundreds of items available for purchase for your pet with the proceeds going right back to the shelter.  See more about our retail store here.

Viewer's Pass
The viewer's pass includes viewing the adoption area only. Interaction with animals will require a pre-screen profile to be completed and approved.

Kids Club
Kids Club offers fun, education and interactive experiences for kids who love animals. We believe in this program because building a more humane community begins with our youngest citizens. All children ages 5-12 are invited to become members!

Memberships are for the calendar year
Memberships are offered for 1 calendar year. If you purchase your membership in halfway through the year, it will be active until the end of the current calendar year and good for any
remaining Kids Club playdates that haven’t yet taken place. If you purchase your membership within the last 3 months of the year, it will be applied for the next calendar year.
