I might be middle-aged, but that isn't slowing me down anytime soon. Since I was an outdoor dog for the majority of my life, you should expect to have to house train me. I love treats and can be easily motivated to work for a good snack. I do need to be watched outside because if the opportunity to escape presents itself, I tend to take it. A harness when walking would be the best idea to combat that habit, and a fenced yard would be much better than being leashed outside all the time. I do need to be left alone when I am eating because I just eat too fast and might not realize if a hand is in my bowl or if people are around me. Because I eat so fast, a maze bowl would be a good idea!
