Hi, my name is Hero! I came to the shelter a few months ago because my owners could no longer care for me. I am quite the short guy, but I make up for height with playfulness and energy! I am both house-trained and kennel-trained and have been very good about not making messes here in my kennel at the shelter. I haven’t been around kids before, but I think I would be fine with kids ages 5 and up who understand doggy boundaries. Staff has noticed that I am a bit selective with other dogs but I have lived with one previously and did well. Here is a fun fact! I was actually born here at the shelter over 4 years ago, if you would like to celebrate my birthday, it is 7/17/17! Will you be my new best friend?
