Hi, my name is Benny! I came to the shelter as a transfer all the way from Texas! I have had quite the journey and now I am here to tell you all about it. A group of rescuers had found me on the side of a road in Texas after I was hit by a car and was left behind. I wasn’t able to stand when they found me and I was in an awful amount of pain. Later on, I was able to get the surgery I desperately needed and now I have multiple screws in my leg to hold my growth plate together so my bones heal back together. This means that I am still on kennel rest and will have to be for a while longer. I am considered a special needs adoption because of the medical attention I may need until I am fully healed. Even though my story started out like this, I am one of the most affectionate guys you’d ever meet. I’ve had a rough start to my young life, but will you change that around for me and give me a life full of love?
