My ideal home is with someone who has researched my breed or has had Shiba Inus in the past. I can be a little timid and standoffish as first but I do warm up fairly quickly. I am unsure how I feel about other animals. I can be quite vocal so I cannot go to an apartment. I have to go to a home with older kids because I am very timid and fast movements scare me and I may nip or bite because of it. Here at the shelter, I have been a bit picky with who I like. I warm up faster to females and men tend to frighten me at first. If you are interested in me, please go slow or ask staff for assistance.
