In fact, Carly loves attention so much that sometimes she will jump up on you. It’s only because she wants you to pet her and she’s looking for your attention. As soon as she feels that love, she settles right down. We think, with some consistent routines and a loving home, Carly will be able to learn better manners.

 

Carly is more comfortable around women, and takes a little more time to warm up to men. With slow introductions though, she can become comfortable with all people. When Carly feels comfortable with someone, she will roll on her back and ask for belly rubs. She is just the cutest when she does that! She can get a little overwhelmed in situations with a lot of people, and would likely do best in either a quieter home, or a home that doesn’t have as many visitors. 

 

Carly enjoys going for car rides and snuggling up with her people. She is the perfect dog for someone looking for a sidekick to stay by their side most of the time.
