Hi, I’m Zoey! I came to the shelter as a surrender. I am fully house trained and used to being kenneled when I am left home alone. I am quite timid at first so it’s best if I go to a home with older kids ages 9 and up. I like being the center of attention so I have to be the only animal in the home. I have been around various dogs in the past and it did not go well. I have also been around cats and I have a high prey drive and tend to treat them more like toys than living things so it’s best if I am the only animal in the home. I tend to like females more than males in the home. Males have always scared me and I will lay down flat and sometimes pee in fear. I am also quite smart and know a few commands such as “sit” and “lay down”. I also know how to open sliding doors if they are left unlocked. I can also jump a 4-foot fence and can figure out how to open latches. If you take me out, please make sure you stay outside with me to make sure I don’t escape. I can be destructive in the home if I am not in a kennel.
