The Sioux Falls Area Humane Society is one of the largest open-admission shelters in South Dakota, dedicated to being a safe haven and human voice for all animals in need. SFAHS takes in abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals that need tender loving care until they can find a permanent home. We help these animals find their permanent home, prevent animal cruelty and educate people on the humane treatment of animals. Our mission is to be a safe haven and human voice for all animals in need.
